Inside

The cottage has been updated by installing two bedrooms in the roof area, one very large with a double bed and the other smaller with two singles. Because of the sloping ceilings, we have provided hanging rails rather than wardrobes but both rooms have sets of drawers and other storage.

There is a third smaller bedroom downstairs with a double bed, wardrobe, en suite toilet, shower with seat and hand basin.

This together with a full size family bathroom with shower over bath, makes for less queuing in the morning as well as being particularly suitable for those less mobile or who have difficulty with full flights of stairs.

For chilly nights, there are wood/coal burning stoves in the kitchen and lounge, electric radiators for all other rooms and electric heaters in both the bathroom and ensuite.

The living accommodation consists of a well equipped kitchen/diner with gas oven, separate ceramic hob, a microwave and seating for six. The kitchen opens directly on to a patio area in the garden which makes outdoor catering a relatively simple affair. Alongside the kitchen is a utility room with fridge/freezer and washingmachine.

There is small sitting room seating three for reading or just peace and quiet, and a lounge seating six with satellite TV, DVD player and iPod docking station.

We have provided a good supply of DVDs, books and board games to keep both adults & children entertained.

Outdoors

There are three sitting areas, all of which have their own tables and chairs (so you won't need to move your seat to follow the sun!) the largest set of which is directly outside the kitchen door and which accommodates six very easily.

There is parking for two cars at the end of the house.
